As per the Bylaws, Memorandum and Articles of Associations, by signing the application for to become a CPA … you agree that if you are admitted as member, you will abide by The Institute’s and The Association’s Code of Ethics, Memorandum & Articles, and Bye-laws from time to time in force.:

“To maintain membership in good standing every member will have to pay Membership Dues and Annual Subscription regularly. The subscription becomes due immediate after becoming a CPA. Members with annual subscription fee in arrears of 3 months or more will be marked “Suspended” and the members with annual subscription fee in arrears of a full year may be removed from the Register of Members and will loose the rights of a Member in Good Standing. In this case the non-renewal member will also loose the right to use the designatory letter of CPA, ACPA, or FCPA after their name. The CPA certificate remains the property of The Association. The Association retains the rights to demand to return the certificate without giving any reason …”
